We are Goldkine, an innovative, award-winning cannabis brand dedicated to you. We believe in simplifying your cannabis journey in finding quality and consistency with a brand you can trust. Born from the shared vision of four lifelong friends, our journey began over 15 years ago in the heart of the indoor caregiver cannabis world – in Detroit – where daily grit and determination are meshed into its industrious spirit – and engrained in Goldkine. When others were growing in basements, we were growing in factories. And what started as a passion for growing the finest cannabis has blossomed into a commitment to offering kine bud for everyone, through a brand where excellence is not just promised, it’s delivered.
Our Name
Goldkine’s name reflects our commitment to high standards and excellence. “Gold” represents our top-tier cultivation and production practices that blend advanced technology with traditional craft, while “Kine” is a Hawaiian term for “Excellence” brought to the US mainland by surfers and signifies our dedication to delivering superior quality cannabis. Together, Goldkine embodies the best in cannabis culture. Excellence – it’s in our name.
Our Facility
Our Cultivation Department includes:
- 68,000 sq. ft. in the heart of metro-Detroit
- 13 flower rooms; 1 dedicated R&D room, 2 veg rooms, 1 mother room, and 1 clone room.
- 1 trim room with multiple trim methods, including full hand-trim.
- Advanced LED lights, environmental controls, auto irrigation, cooling, and dehumidifying systems.
- Under-canopy lighting to ensure consistent terpene and cannabinoid levels.
- AROYA crop steering system.
- Constant R&D on strain genetics and terpenes.
- Eco-friendly cultivation methods to support environmentally sustainable practices.
- 3 dry rooms – our flower is hang-dried and cured for a month using traditional slow-dry methods and perfect climate control to maximize flower flavor and maximum terpene capture.
Our Manufacturing Department includes:
- 3 automated pre-rolling machines.
- Auto-finisher and infusion injection.
- Automated jar and bagger lines.
- Semi-automated tube and jar labeler.
- Semi-automated box and bag labeler.
- Semi-automated plastic wrap and heat tunnel.
- 10x knock box manual pre-roll makers.
- Semi-automated Jiko pre-roll infusion injector.
